• In an emergency situation, such as when your card is lost or stolen, UnionPay cardholders can call their issuing bank or the local UnionPay hotline to apply for an Emergency Card Replacement service. The service is currently available for Credit Cards and Debit Cards issued outside of Mainland China.
• Cardholders can call their Issuing bank or the UnionPay hotline to apply for the service and the replacement card is delivered by express courier. The UnionPay Emergency Card Replacement service can be provided in as little as 24 hours (subject to authorization by the Issuing bank and the location of the cardholder). • The UnionPay Emergency Card Replacement is available globally.
• Issuing banks will need to be registered with UnionPay, and provide emergency authorization contact details as well as have established appropriate operational procedures with a 24*7 call center.

- 1. The Cardholder calls their issuing bank or the UnionPay hotline to apply for the service
- 2. The issuing bank validates the identity of the cardholder and collects the information needed for the service
- 3. The issuing bank confirms the service acceptance and card delivery address with the cardholder
- 4. The cardholder receives the replacement card delivered by express courier
- 5. The cardholder pays the service fee.
